This policy covers khantankcleaning.com, run by Khan Tank Cleaning, Karachi. It explains what information we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect

Why we use it
- To call you back, confirm a booking or arrange a survey
- To send the crew to the right address at the right time
- To issue an invoice and keep a record of the job
- To deal with any complaint or re-clean under our guarantee
- To see which pages are useful, so we can improve the website
We do not sell, rent or trade your details, and we do not send marketing messages unless you ask us to.
Where it is kept
Form submissions are stored on our web hosting server in files that cannot be opened from the website. Only our staff can see them, and only to handle your job. We never publish customer names or house addresses.
Third-party services
The website uses a few services run by other companies, which have their own privacy policies:
- Google Analytics — measures how the site is used, using cookies
- Google Maps — shows our branch locations on the contact and branch pages
- Google Fonts — loads the typeface used on the site
- WhatsApp — if you tap a WhatsApp button, the chat happens in WhatsApp, not on our website
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website still works without them.
How long we keep it
We keep job details for as long as we need them to provide the service, handle any follow-up, and keep our business and tax records.
Your choices

Who we are
Khan Tank Cleaning provides water tank cleaning and disinfection in Karachi from two branches: DHA Phase 2 and Gulshan-e-Iqbal. We are not affiliated with any similarly named company, and these terms apply only to work booked with us through this website or our two branch numbers.
Prices and quotes
- House prices are listed on our price page. The date the rates were last updated is shown there, and we may change them from time to time.
- Flats, apartment buildings, commercial sites and factories are priced after a free survey. The price we give you in writing is the price you pay for that job.
- No work starts until you have agreed the price, and nothing is added on the day.
Bookings
- A request sent through the website is not a confirmed booking until we call or message you to confirm the date and time.
- Please tell us as early as possible if you need to change or cancel.
- On the day, we need access to the tank, and to your water supply for the final rinse.
- Please tell us about anything we should know before we start, such as a weak roof, difficult access or a tank that has not been opened for years.
Payment
Payment is due once the job is finished and you have checked the tank. We accept cash, bank transfer, JazzCash and EasyPaisa. Buildings and companies receive a tax invoice.
Our guarantee
If our work falls short, we put it right free of charge. What is and is not covered, and how to raise a complaint, is set out on our guarantee page.
Repairs and existing damage
Tank cleaning does not include repairs. If we notice cracks, leaks or a damaged lid or cover, we will tell you, but we are not responsible for damage that existed before the clean.
Using this website
The information on this site is general guidance about tank cleaning and our services. It does not replace advice on your particular tank, which we give on the phone or during a survey. The text, logo and images on this site belong to Khan Tank Cleaning and may not be copied without permission.

Who writes our content
Everything on this website, including our guides, is written by the Khan Tank Cleaning team and reviewed under the oversight of our founder, Mateen Khan, who has worked in the trade since 2004.
What it is based on
Our content comes from more than twenty years of cleaning tanks in Karachi: homes, apartment buildings, hotels, hospitals, universities and factories. Where we describe our procedure, equipment, chemicals or prices, we describe what our crews actually do and charge. When we write about general topics such as water safety or disinfection, we stick to well-established practice and say so plainly when something depends on the individual tank.
Keeping it accurate
- Prices are updated when our rates change, and the price page shows when they were last updated.
- Pages are reviewed when our procedure, equipment or services change.
- Customer reviews are quoted word for word from Google, with nothing edited, and we link to the original listings.
- We do not publish paid reviews, made-up testimonials or claims we cannot stand behind.
