Water tank cleaning in Korangi
Korangi is two places at once: one of Pakistan’s largest industrial areas, and a township of numbered sectors home to hundreds of thousands of people. We clean tanks on both sides of Korangi Road — the underground tank under a Korangi 5 house, the shared tank of a flat block, and the storage tanks of export factories in the industrial sectors.

What makes Korangi tanks different
Korangi Township was laid out in 1959, and many of its houses still run on the underground tank that was built with them. In the numbered sectors — Korangi 1 to 6, including 2½ — a typical house has a concrete tank below the floor that has rarely, if ever, been fully emptied. The sediment at the bottom of a tank like that is measured in inches, not millimetres.
Supply is the other half of the story. Mains water to parts of Korangi has been suspended for days at a time, and many households and factories top up from tankers or from wells and bores. Groundwater here carries more silt and dissolved salts than mains water, so tanks fill with sediment faster and build up a hard, scaly layer on the walls. The tannery cluster in Sector 7-A, the largest in Pakistan, has complained for years about wells drying up and the lack of a regular mains supply.
None of that changes the job, but it changes how often it is needed and how long it takes. A Korangi tank that runs partly on bore or tanker water should be cleaned every three to six months, not once a year.

Booking a factory tank clean in Korangi
Industrial jobs go smoothly when we know a few things before the survey. Have these ready and we can usually quote on the same visit.
- Number of tanks, and roughly how big each one is
- What each tank stores: raw, process or drinking water
- Where the water comes from: mains, tanker, well or bore
- When the tanks can be taken out of use, and for how long
- Your site’s safety and permit-to-work rules
- Any approved disinfectant your QA team requires
- The paperwork your auditors expect after the job
- Gate, parking and access arrangements for the crew
Pharmaceutical and food plants often need water tanks cleaned to a fixed schedule for their own quality systems. If you send us your schedule, we will book the visits around it. Call 0333 0293174 to arrange a survey.

Questions
Tank cleaning in Korangi: common questions
How much does water tank cleaning cost in Korangi?
For a house, both tanks together cost Rs 4,000 up to 100 sq yd, Rs 4,500 for 120 sq yd and Rs 5,000 for 240 sq yd. A single tank starts at Rs 2,500. Flats, buildings, shops and factories in Korangi get a free survey and a written price. The full list is on our price page.
Which branch covers Korangi?
Our DHA Phase 2 branch, on 0333 0293174. It is the nearer of our two branches for Korangi, the Korangi Industrial Area, Mehran Town and Landhi, and it answers 24 hours a day.
Can you clean factory tanks during our shutdown or on a Sunday?
Yes. Industrial jobs are planned around your production, so factory jobs can be booked for a Sunday, a holiday or a scheduled shutdown and the line does not stop for water.
Do you provide paperwork for audits?
Yes. Industrial and commercial clients can get service documentation for their auditors or health inspectors, along with a proper tax invoice, since we are registered with the Sindh Revenue Board and the Federal Board of Revenue.
Our factory specifies its own disinfectant. Can you use it?
Yes. Many pharmaceutical, food and export units have an approved chemical list. We use the product you specify and follow your site safety rules. Otherwise we disinfect with chlorine (calcium or sodium hypochlorite).
Our water comes partly from a well or bore. Does that change anything?
It usually means more sediment and mineral scale in the tank, because groundwater carries more dissolved salts and silt than mains water. The procedure is the same, but heavily scaled tanks take longer, which we account for in the survey.
