Water tank cleaning in SITE Area, Karachi
SITE is Karachi’s oldest and largest industrial estate, with around 4,000 industrial units west of the Lyari River, and the residential localities of SITE Town around it. Water here comes from several sources, and tanks pay the price. We clean factory, warehouse, office and household tanks across the area.

Water in SITE comes from everywhere, and so does the dirt
Few parts of Karachi depend on as many water sources as SITE. A factory may take mains water when it arrives, tankers when it does not, and groundwater from a private supplier or its own bore in between. In January 2025, mains supply to the estate’s roughly 4,000 units stopped for days during a dispute with sub-soil water suppliers, and industrialists said brackish groundwater was being mixed into the supply. Production stopped at many units.
Every one of those sources leaves something behind in a tank. Tanker water brings silt. Groundwater brings dissolved salts that harden into scale on the walls and floor. Mixed together in one tank and left to settle, they build a layer of sludge much faster than mains water alone. Bacteria grow in that layer, and anyone drinking from the tank — often hundreds of workers a shift — is drinking from it too.
That is why SITE tanks need cleaning more often than tanks in areas with steady mains supply, and why a heavily scaled tank takes longer than one that was cleaned three months ago.

How a SITE factory job runs
From first call to audit file
| Stage | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Call or WhatsApp | Tell us how many tanks, roughly how big, and where your water comes from. We book a survey at a time that suits your site. |
| 2. Free survey | We look at each tank, the access, the sludge and the scale, and check your site safety rules and any approved chemical. |
| 3. Written quote and plan | A fixed price, the crew size, the equipment, and an order for the tanks so your supply keeps running. |
| 4. The clean | Draining, ventilation and safe entry, sludge removal, washing and scrubbing, disinfection and rinse — tank by tank. |
| 5. Your check and paperwork | Your team inspects each tank. You receive a tax invoice and, where needed, service documentation for your auditors. |
| 6. Next visit | We suggest a cleaning interval based on what we found, and can book the next visits in advance. |

Questions
Tank cleaning in SITE: common questions
How much does tank cleaning cost in SITE?
For a house in SITE Town, both tanks together cost Rs 4,000 up to 100 sq yd and Rs 4,500 for 120 sq yd; a single tank starts at Rs 2,500. Factories, warehouses, offices and shared buildings get a free survey and a written price. See the full list on our price page.
Which branch covers the SITE area?
Our Gulshan-e-Iqbal branch, on 0340 2717530. It handles SITE Area, SITE Town and the neighbouring localities, and answers 24 hours a day.
Our factory fills its tanks from tankers and bores. How often should they be cleaned?
Every three months is a sensible starting point for tanks that take tanker or groundwater, because that water carries more silt and dissolved salts than mains water. Drinking-water tanks for staff should be on that schedule at least. We can suggest a schedule after the first clean, once we have seen how much sediment has built up.
Can you clean tanks without stopping production?
Usually, yes. Large sites often have more than one tank, so we clean them one at a time while the others keep supplying. Otherwise the job is booked for a Sunday, a holiday or a planned shutdown.
Do you provide documents for buyer or compliance audits?
Yes. Export units and other industrial clients can get service documentation for their auditors, along with a proper tax invoice. Tell us what your auditor needs to see when you book.
Can you use the chemical our company has approved?
Yes. If your quality or compliance team has an approved disinfectant, we use it and follow your site rules. Otherwise we disinfect with chlorine (calcium or sodium hypochlorite) and rinse before refilling.
